Jinlun Bridge Introduction
Jinlun Bridge is located in Taitung County, in the village of Taimali, and was opened to traffic in 2017 as part of the South Link Highway expansion and improvement project. Due to its unique geographical location, it was hailed by news media as the most beautiful elevated bridge in Taiwan shortly after its opening, attracting many photography enthusiasts who visit to capture the seemingly endless bridge stretching towards the sea with long lenses. If you are traveling south along Highway 9 from the north, you will first pass through Jinlun Village before reaching Jinlun Bridge. By making a turn, you can enter the village, where many local specialty shops have emerged in recent years. Besides taking a short rest here, you can also enjoy a distant view of Jinlun Bridge from the direction of Jinlun Village, capturing scenic spots that cannot be shot from the bridge itself. For photographing the beautiful scenery of Jinlun Bridge, it is recommended to use a telephoto lens to capture the continuous stretch of road. Please note that parking on the bridge is not allowed, and do not walk onto the roadway for photography; safety is the top priority!
