Jinlun Bridge Introduction
Jinlun Bridge is located in Taimali, Taitung County, and was opened to traffic in 2017 as part of the South Link Highway expansion project. Due to its unique geographical position, it was quickly praised by the media as the most beautiful viaduct in Taiwan at the time of its opening, attracting many photography enthusiasts who visit to capture images of the seemingly infinitely extending bridge surface towards the ocean. If traveling south along Taiwan Route 9 from the north, visitors will pass through Jinlun Village before reaching Jinlun Bridge. A simple turn will take you into the village, which has many locally distinctive shops that have emerged in recent years. Not only can you take a short rest here, but you can also enjoy a distant view of Jinlun Bridge from Jinlun Village, capturing sceneries that are not visible from the bridge. To photograph the beautiful landscapes of Jinlun Bridge, it is recommended to use a telephoto lens to best portray the continuous stretch of the road. Additionally, please note that parking is not allowed on the bridge, and do not walk onto the roadway for photography; safety is the top priority!
