Jinlun Bridge Introduction
Jinlun Bridge is located in Taitung County's Taimali Township and opened to traffic in 2017 as part of the expansion and improvement plan for the Southern Cross-Island Highway. Due to its unique geographical location, it was praised by the media as the most beautiful viaduct in Taiwan shortly after opening, attracting many photography enthusiasts who visit to capture images of the seemingly infinite bridge extending out to sea. Traveling south along Provincial Highway 9 from the north, visitors will first pass through Jinlun Village before reaching Jinlun Bridge; a quick turn will lead them into the village, which has seen many locally themed shops open in recent years. Besides taking a short break here, one can also enjoy a distant view of Jinlun Bridge from the village, capturing beautiful scenes that cannot be shot from the bridge itself. For the best photographs of Jinlun Bridge, it is advisable to use a telephoto lens to capture the continuous stretch of the road. Additionally, please note that parking is not allowed on the bridge, and do not walk onto the roadway for photographs; safety is the most important thing!
