Jinlun Bridge Introduction
Jinlun Bridge is located in Taitung County's Taimali Township and was opened to traffic in 2017 as part of the Southern Cross-Island Highway expansion and improvement project. Due to its unique geographical location, it was praised by the media as the most beautiful elevated bridge in Taiwan shortly after its opening, attracting many photography enthusiasts who visit to capture its seemingly infinite stretch over the sea using long lenses. When traveling south along Provincial Highway 9 from the north, you will first pass through Jinlun Village before reaching Jinlun Bridge; a simple turn will lead you into the village, which has many locally unique shops in recent years. In addition to taking a short rest here, you can also enjoy a distant view of the Jinlun Bridge from Jinlun Village, capturing beautiful scenes that cannot be seen from the bridge. If you wish to photograph the scenery of Jinlun Bridge, it's recommended to use a telephoto lens to capture the endless roadway. Also, please note that stopping on the bridge is not allowed, and do not step onto the roadway for photos; safety is more important than anything else!
