Jinlun Bridge Introduction
Jinlun Bridge is located in Taitung County's Taimali Township and opened to traffic in 2017 as part of the South Link Highway widening and improvement project. Due to its unique geographical location, it was praised by the media as the most beautiful viaduct in Taiwan shortly after its opening, attracting many photography enthusiasts who visit to capture the bridge's roadway seemingly extending infinitely into the ocean with long lenses. If traveling south along Highway 9 from the north, one will first pass through Jinlun Village before reaching Jinlun Bridge. A quick turn will lead into the village, which has seen an increase in local specialty shops in recent years. Here, visitors can take a short break and also enjoy a distant view of Jinlun Bridge from the village, capturing beautiful scenery that cannot be seen from the bridge itself. For the best photos of Jinlun Bridge, it is recommended to use a telephoto lens to capture the continuous stretch of road. Additionally, it is important to note that parking on the bridge is not allowed, and one should not step onto the roadway for photography, as safety is more important than anything else!
