Hakka Cultural Park, Taipei City Introduction
The Taipei Hakka Cultural Park serves as a venue for Taipei residents to learn about Hakka culture and as a space for leisure. It provides a gathering place for Hakka people in the metropolitan area of Taipei to connect and share memories of their lives. Within the park, the "Cross-Dike Platform" features pedestrian walkways and bike paths that link 108 hectares of riverside green space, the National Taiwan University Gongguan commercial district, the National Taiwan University Shuiyuan campus, the Water Park, and the Treasure Hill Artist Village, creating a waterfront tourism corridor along the Gongguan area that offers a diverse range of recreational activities for residents and an opportunity to experience water-based living.
