Rainbow Six Introduction
On May 17, 2019, Taiwan became the first country in Asia to legalize same-sex marriage. In September of the same year, on the 25th, with the efforts of various organizations, a rainbow landscape called "Rainbow Six" was established at Exit 6 of Ximen MRT Station in Taipei City, symbolizing the city's active efforts in respecting human rights and promoting sexual equality and gender friendliness. This new rainbow landmark has also become a popular photo-taking spot in Taipei City.
