Taibai Sky Voice Introduction
Nestled amidst the hazy mountains and seas, on the way to the Dongyong Lighthouse, stands the Taibaitiansheng archway with its red background and white characters, located right by the roadside. This archway is a viewing platform that stands majestically atop a towering boulder, offering excellent views. From the platform, you can admire the shimmering coastal rocks and the rugged landscape, while gazing over the vast ocean, which is truly magnificent. During the foggy season between spring and summer, around March to May, the rain and mist create a dreamy atmosphere, shrouding the rocks in a veil of fog. The sounds of the wind intertwined with the crashing waves against the coastal rocks evoke a surreal ambiance, giving rise to its name. Here, one can overlook the undulating hills of half of Dongyin Island and marvel at the dramatic cliffs and seascapes, which are truly captivating. If visitors happen to be in Dongyin during this season, it’s highly recommended to come and experience this breathtaking view firsthand! Another small highlight along the trail to the Dongyong Lighthouse is the Leigu Stone (Drum Stone). This granite monolith protrudes from the mountainside, resembling a large circular drum that seems to produce a deep resonant sound when struck, representing a unique geological formation of the area.
