太白天聲

Situated amidst the misty mountains and seas, on the way to Dongyong Lighthouse, the Taibei Archway with its red background and white characters stands by the roadside, offering an excellent viewing platform perched atop a towering boulder. From this viewing platform, one can gaze out at the shimmering coastal rocks and steep landscapes, with the vast ocean stretching into the distance, creating a magnificent sight; during the foggy season between spring and summer, the rain and mist interlace, shrouding the rocks in a hazy veil. The sound of the wind and waves crashing against the coastal rocks intertwines, creating an illusion reminiscent of a surreal realm, hence its name. Here, one can overlook half of Dongyin Island's layered hills and also enjoy the perilous cliffs meeting the sea and sky, making it a breathtaking experience. If visitors come to Dongyin Island during this season (approximately March to May), they should not miss the chance to experience it themselves! The forgotten giant drum – Leigu Stone Beside the trail leading to Dongyong Lighthouse, there is another small attraction – Leigu Stone. Leigu Stone is a giant granite boulder protruding from the mountainside along the trail, shaped like a large round drum, seemingly capable of producing a deep resonating drum sound when struck, making it a unique geological feature of the area.
