Toushe Reservoir Introduction
Located in the Touhu District, this reservoir is managed by the Nantou Irrigation Association. The Touhu Basin has fertile land but lacks a complete irrigation system, which prevents a stable and abundant water supply for the Touhu area. Planning, investigation, and design began in February 1975 and were completed in December 1979. Due to the lack of large-scale human destruction in the Touhu area, it still retains rich ecological resources, making it a great spot for firefly watching every year from April to May.
