Touhu Reservoir Introduction
Located in the Toushe area, it is an irrigation reservoir governed by the Nantou Agricultural Water Conservancy Association. The Toushe Basin has fertile land but lacks a complete irrigation system, making it unable to provide a stable and abundant water source for the Toushe area. Planning, investigation, and design began in February 1975 and were completed in December 1979. Since the Toushe area has not been extensively damaged by human activities, it still retains rich ecological resources, and it is also a great place for firefly watching every year from April to May.
