Touhu Reservoir Introduction
Located in the Toushe area, it is the irrigation reservoir under the jurisdiction of the Nantou Irrigation Association. The Toushe Basin has fertile land but lacks a complete irrigation system, which makes it unable to provide a stable and abundant water source for the Toushe area. Planning, investigation, and design began in February 1975 and were completed by December 1979. Because the Toushe area has not been extensively damaged by human activities, it still retains abundant ecological resources, and it is also a great place for firefly watching every year from April to May.
