Toushe Reservoir Introduction
Located in the Toushe area, it is an irrigation reservoir under the jurisdiction of the Nantou Irrigation Association. The Toushe Basin has fertile land, but lacks a complete irrigation system, which cannot provide a stable and abundant water supply for the Toushe area. Planning, investigation, and design began in February 1975, and it was completed in December 1979. Because the Toushe area has not been extensively damaged by human activity, it still retains rich ecological resources, making it a popular place for firefly watching in April and May each year.
