Toushe Reservoir Introduction
Located in the Toushe area, this reservoir is managed by the Nantou Irrigation Association. The Toushe Basin has fertile land but lacks a complete irrigation system, which hampers the provision of a stable and ample water supply for the Toushe area. Planning, investigation, and design began in February 1975, and the reservoir was completed in December 1979. Due to minimal large-scale human destruction in the Toushe area, it still retains rich ecological resources, making it a great spot for firefly watching every year from April to May.
