Log Pond Introduction
Originally used to store logs, this pond was utilized during the prosperous timber industry in the 50s and 60s. A traveling crane was used to soak the logs in the pond to extend their usability. Over time, the area surrounding the log pond has been planted with maple trees, camphor trees, and swamp cypress, and is surrounded by mountains, creating a beautiful landscape. When you come here, it’s worth taking a moment to enjoy the scenery!
