Originally used to store logs, this pool was utilized during the 1960s and 1970s when the lumber industry was booming in Che Cheng. The overhead crane was employed to soak the logs in the pool to extend their longevity. Over time, the area around the log storage pool has been planted with maples, camphor trees, and bald cypress, surrounded by mountains, creating a beautiful scenery. When you arrive here, it's worth taking a moment to appreciate this lovely view!
