The "Tianchang Bridge" has been permanently closed since February 29, 2024, and the "Dijiu Bridge" has been closed since January 1, 2025. Located in Chukou Village, Fanlu Township, Chiayi County, the Tianchang Dijiu Bridge is one of the famous attractions in Chukou, consisting of two suspension bridges: the "Tianchang Bridge" and the "Dijiu Bridge". These two bridges span the upstream valley of the Bajhang River, surrounded by lush green mountains and babbling streams, creating a picturesque landscape that has become a popular spot in the Chukou area. The Tianchang and Dijiu Bridges were built during the Japanese colonial period in 1937, named to commemorate the birthday of the Japanese Emperor (known as Tianchang Day) and the birthday of the Empress (known as Dijiu Day). The Tianchang Bridge is located above the staircase, while the Dijiu Bridge is situated north of the Chukou Bridge along Provincial Highway 18 at the 34K mark. After crossing the Dijiu Bridge, visitors can ascend the staircase to reach the Tianchang Bridge. The pathway connecting the two bridges has become an ideal route for tourists to stroll and enjoy the scenery, along with a romantic legend that says "lovers will eventually be together."

The Tiangchang Bridge is located above the staircase, while the Dijiu Bridge is situated north of the Chukou Bridge on Provincial Highway 18 at 34K.
