Shenwei Tiantai Mountain Introduction
Shenwei Tiantai Mountain is located at 14K of Provincial Highway 27甲 in Liugui District, covering more than 300 hectares. It is the largest Yiguandao temple in Taiwan. The main buildings are divided into the front hall, middle hall, and rear hall, which shine brilliantly under the sunlight, exuding a solemn and respectful atmosphere. The white jade Buddha statue inside is carved from the largest piece of white jade in Asia. The table that holds the three Buddha statues is made of hundred-year-old camphor wood. To bear the immense weight, the base of the statues is firmly set into the ground, and the altar table is installed. Due to its enormous size, it has also participated in the Guinness World Records. The temple is planned to develop as a comprehensive international-grade temple, serving as an open health and leisure education site. Visitors are recommended to stay for about an hour to slow down and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the grounds.
