Maolin Entrance Image Park Introduction
Maolin Entrance Image Park is located along County Road 132 in Maolin District. Originally the office of the Maolin National Scenic Area, it has been redeveloped into the "Maolin Entrance Image Park." In this park, visitors can enjoy a distant view of the third-highest bridge in Taiwan, the Deliri Ga Bridge, and appreciate the beauty of modern architectural craftsmanship. The park is equipped with simple resting facilities, serving as a stopping point for tourists to take a break. The entrance sculptures retain three flagpoles that survived the typhoon as a memorial, symbolizing resilience and steadfastness in the face of adversity. The three flying beautiful butterflies in the park's installation art represent the three villages of Maolin District, undergoing transformation and emerging with new life and hope, welcoming a bright future. At night, the park is illuminated with splendid lighting effects, creating a unique atmosphere. It is recommended to spend about 30 minutes here, taking a break in the pavilions or under the trees on stone benches, while enjoying the scenery along the creek.
