Located between Liugui Bridge and Dajin Bridge, this bridge spans across the Laonong River, connecting Taiwan Highway 28 and Taiwan Highway 27. The bridge features an outward-leaning steel arch design and is uniquely shaped like a purple butterfly.

New Wei Scenic Bridge Introduction

The Xinwei Scenic Bridge is located at the 45 km mark of Taiwan Provincial Highway 28. It spans both banks of the Laonong River, situated between the Liugui Bridge and the Daqiu Bridge, connecting Taiwan Provincial Highways 28 and 27. This bridge primarily facilitates transportation between Meinong, Liugui, and Maolin in Kaohsiung City, as well as Gao District and Daqiu in Pingtung County, thereby reducing travel time across various regions of Kaohsiung City. The bridge is designed with an outward-leaning steel arch structure, specifically crafted in the shape of a butterfly (Zebra Longwing).
