Located between Liuqiu Bridge and Dajin Bridge, spanning both sides of Laonong River, it connects Taiwan Route 28 and Taiwan Route 27. This bridge adopts an outward-leaning steel arch design and is specially designed in the shape of the purple butterfly.

New Wei Scenic Bridge Introduction

The Xinwei Scenic Bridge is located at the 45km mark of Provincial Highway 28. It spans both sides of the Laonong River, situated between the Liugui Bridge and the Daqiu Bridge, connecting Provincial Highway 28 and Provincial Highway 27. This bridge mainly facilitates transportation between Meinong and Liugui in Kaohsiung City, as well as Gaoshu and Daqiu in Pingtung County, significantly reducing travel time within Kaohsiung City. The bridge features a cantilevered steel arch design, specifically created in the shape of a butterfly.
