New Wei Scenic Bridge Introduction
The New Wei Scenic Bridge is located at 45 km on Taiwan Route 28. It spans both banks of the Laonong River, situated between the Liugui Bridge and the Dajian Bridge, connecting Taiwan Route 28 and Taiwan Route 27. This bridge primarily facilitates transportation between Meinong and Liugui in Kaohsiung City, as well as Gaoshu and Dajian in Pingtung County, reducing travel time across various areas of Kaohsiung City. The bridge features an outward-tilted steel arch design, specifically designed to resemble a purple butterfly.
