New Wei Scenic Bridge Introduction

The New Wei Scenic Bridge is located at the 45 km mark of Taiwan Route 28. It spans the Laonong River, situated between the Liugui Bridge and the Dajin Bridge, connecting Taiwan Route 28 and Taiwan Route 27. This bridge primarily facilitates transportation among Meinong and Liugui in Kaohsiung City, as well as Gaoshu and Dajin in Pingtung County, reducing travel time across various areas of Kaohsiung City. The bridge features an outward-tilted steel arch design and is specially designed in the shape of a purple butterfly.
