New Wei Scenic Bridge Introduction
The New Wei Scenic Bridge is located at the 45 km mark of Taiwan Route 28, spanning the Laonong River between the Liuqiu Bridge and the Daqin Bridge, connecting Taiwan Route 28 and Taiwan Route 27. This bridge primarily facilitates transportation between Meinong and Liugui in Kaohsiung City, as well as Gaoqi and Daqin in Pingtung County, significantly reducing travel time across Kaohsiung City. The bridge features a cantilevered steel arch design and is uniquely shaped like a purple butterfly.
