Located between Liugui Bridge and Dajin Bridge, spanning both sides of Laonong River, it connects Taiwan Route 28 and Taiwan Route 27. This bridge features an outward-tilting steel arch design and is specially designed in the shape of a Taiwan purple butterfly.

New Wei Scenic Bridge Introduction

The Xinwei Scenic Bridge is located at kilometer 45 of County Road 28. It spans across both sides of the Laonong River, situated between the Liugui Bridge and the Daqiu Bridge, connecting County Road 28 and County Road 27. This bridge primarily facilitates transportation between Meinong, Liugui, and Maolin in Kaohsiung City, as well as Gaoshu and Daqiu in Pingtung County, reducing travel time across various areas of Kaohsiung City. The bridge features an outward-leaning steel arch design, uniquely shaped like a butterfly.
