Maolin Visitor Center Introduction
The Maolin Visitor Center is located at No. 7-7, Maolin Lane, Maolin Village. Originally, the visitor center was situated within the Maolin office of the Fengshan District Farmers' Association. To enhance the visitor service functions of the Maolin National Scenic Area, the Maolin Management Office constructed the new Maolin Visitor Center, which officially opened on August 19, 2024. The center features a tourist information service counter, a smart touch screen guide wall, an interactive large screen wall, a multimedia audiovisual room, a nursing room, a prayer room, and a book exchange station, among other facilities, to provide comprehensive recreational services. Inside the center is the Maolin Environmental Education Center, which offers courses on the Purple Butterfly, indigenous culture, and the unique winding terrain of Maolin. Visitors are welcome to stop by. A suggested visit duration is about one hour, and reservations can be made for immersive film screenings or to obtain information about sightseeing resources within the scenic area at the visitor center.
