Maolin Visitor Center Introduction
The Maolin Visitor Center is located at No. 7-7, Maolin Lane, Maolin Village. The original visitor center was situated within the Maolin Office of the Fengshan Farmers' Association. To enhance the visitor service function of the Maolin National Scenic Area, the Maolin Management Office constructed the new Maolin Visitor Center, which officially opened on August 19, 2024. Inside, there are travel inquiry service counters, smart touch-screen guided walls, interactive large TV walls, a multimedia audiovisual room, a breastfeeding room, a prayer room, and a book exchange station, all aimed at providing more comprehensive recreational services. The center also houses the Maolin Environmental Education Center, which offers environmental education courses on the Purple Butterfly, indigenous culture, and the unique meandering topography of Maolin. Visitors are welcome to come here. The recommended stay is about 1 hour, during which you may book immersive film screenings or request information about scenic area tourism resources at the visitor center.
