Zishali Shore Trail Introduction
The entrance to the Zishali Trail is located at the Maolin Butterfly Ecological Park. You can reach the entrance by following the butterfly viewing trail. Zishali means "an area with many rhizomes" in the Rukai language. In the past, there were no names for the mountains, and the ancestors of the indigenous people created names based on the trees or plants they observed growing in the area where they farmed.
