Lover's Valley Introduction
Lover's Valley is located on the Lover's Valley Access Road in Maolin District. In the Rukai language, it is called "Tupaluw." The stream is clear and gentle, with a flat and dry riverbed, and fine sand. Upon arrival at the entrance, visitors can see the Lover's Valley Suspension Bridge, which spans the Zhuokou Stream. After crossing the bridge and walking along the trail for about 10 minutes, one can reach the Lover's Valley Waterfall. There are a total of five tiers of waterfalls, but visitors can only access the second tier via a side staircase. The area is densely forested, surrounded by rugged mountains, allowing visitors to listen to the sound of flowing water while enjoying the cool and tranquil surroundings, making it the best destination to escape the heat. Next to the waterfall, there is a pavilion for visitors to rest or admire the beautiful scenery. On holidays, many tourists come here to enjoy the waterfall, relax, and absorb phytoncides, making it a popular leisure and summer vacation spot in southern Taiwan. A recommended stay of about one hour allows for hiking along the trail, resting at the waterfall area, or taking photos at the pavilion and wooden bridge along the way.
