Lover's Valley Introduction
Lover's Valley is located on the Lover's Valley Access Road in Maolin District. In the Rukai language, it is called "Tuba Lu." The stream is clear and gentle, with a flat and dry riverbed covered in fine sand. Upon arriving at the entrance, you can see the Lover's Valley Suspension Bridge, which spans over Zhuokou River. By crossing the bridge and walking along the trail for about 10 minutes, you can reach the Lover's Valley Waterfall. There are a total of five tiers of waterfalls from bottom to top, but only the second tier can be accessed via a staircase on the side. The area is densely forested with rugged mountains, allowing visitors to listen closely to the sound of the flowing water. It remains cool and tranquil, making it an ideal spot for escaping the heat during summer. Next to the waterfall, there is a pavilion where visitors can rest or enjoy the beautiful scenery. During holidays, many tourists come here to admire the waterfall, relax, and absorb the phytoncides, making it a popular recreational getaway in southern Taiwan. A recommended stay of about 1 hour allows for hiking along the trail, resting by the waterfall area, or taking photos at the pavilion and wooden bridge along the way.
