Lover's Valley Introduction
Lover's Valley is located on the Lover's Valley access road in Maolin District. In the Rukai language, it is called "Tubalu." The stream here is clear and gentle, with a flat and dry riverbed that has fine sand. Upon reaching the entrance, visitors can see the Lover's Valley Suspension Bridge, which spans over Zhuokou Creek. Crossing the bridge and following the trail for about 10 minutes leads to the Lover's Valley Waterfall, which consists of five tiers. However, visitors can only reach the second tier via a side stairway. The area is lush with trees, surrounded by towering mountains, and visitors can listen to the sound of running water, making it a cool and tranquil place perfect for escaping the heat. Next to the waterfall, there is a pavilion where visitors can rest or enjoy the beautiful scenery. On holidays, tourists come here to view the waterfall, relax, and soak in the phytoncides, making it a popular recreational destination for summer retreats in the south. It is recommended to stay for about one hour, during which visitors can hike along the trail, take a break near the waterfall area, or capture memories at the pavilion and wooden bridge.
