Lover's Valley Introduction
Lover's Valley is located on the Lover's Valley Access Road in Maolin District, and in Rukai language, it is called "Tobalu." The stream is clear and gentle, with a flat dry riverbed and fine sand. Upon reaching the entrance, visitors can see the Lover's Valley Suspension Bridge, which spans across the Zhuokou Creek. After crossing the bridge, a ten-minute walk along the trail leads to Lover's Valley Waterfall, which features a total of five tiers. However, access to the second tier is only possible via a side staircase. The area is lush with trees and surrounded by towering mountains, allowing visitors to listen to the sound of flowing water in a cool and tranquil environment, making it an ideal place to escape the heat. There is a pavilion near the waterfall where visitors can rest or enjoy the beautiful scenery. On holidays, many tourists gather to admire the waterfall, relax, and absorb the phytoncides, making it a popular leisure destination in southern Taiwan. The recommended stay is about one hour, where visitors can hike the trail, rest at the waterfall area, or take photos at the pavilion and wooden bridge along the way.
