Luzhigou is a fishing village located in San Guang Li, Beimen District, Tainan City. In the early days, it was a place with many waterways at the river mouth between the Zhou Tou on the north bank of the Jiangjun River and the west of Sanliaowan, requiring a temporary bridge made of bulrushes to enter the village, thus earning the name Luzhigou. Luzhigou Fishing Port, also known as Beimen Fishing Port, is one of Tainan's three major fishing ports, boasting hundreds of motorized rubber rafts, making it the largest rubber raft fishing port in Tainan. These rafts are often used to transport oysters from the oyster farming grounds and are frequently hired by sea fishing enthusiasts for deep-sea fishing, enjoying the joy of fishing along the coast. Luzhigou Fishing Port is adjacent to oyster farms, from which one can overlook the neatly arranged oyster racks. During the transition from day to night, the evening glow emerges, and the surface of the lake is dyed with vibrant colors, forming a spectacular and soothing view of the fishing port, attracting many photographers to set up their tripods to capture the scene.
