Luzhugou Tourist Fish Harbor Introduction
Luzhugang is a fishing village located in San Guang Li, Beimen District, Tainan City. In the early years, it was named Luzhugang due to the numerous river mouth canals between the village heads on the north bank of the Jianguan Creek estuary, which required bamboo bridges made of reeds for access to the village. Luzhugang Fishing Port, also known as Beimen Fishing Port, is one of the three major fishing ports in Tainan. The fishing port has hundreds of motorized rubber rafts and is the largest rubber raft fishing port in Tainan. Rubber rafts are often used to transport oysters from oyster farms, and fishing enthusiasts frequently hire these rafts to venture out for fishing and enjoy the fun of coastal angling. Luzhugang Fishing Port is close to oyster farms, where visitors can overlook the neatly arranged oyster racks. During dusk and dawn, the sunset creates a stunning, colorful reflection on the water, forming a spectacular and soothing fishing port scene that attracts many photographers setting up tripods to capture the view.
