Luzhugou is a fishing village located in San Guang Li, Beimen District, Tainan City. In earlier years, it was necessary to build a thatched bridge using bamboo to enter the village due to the many channels at the river mouth between the coastline of Sanliaowan and the northern bank of Jiangjun River, hence the name Luzhugou. Luzhugou Fishing Port, also known as Beimen Fishing Port, is one of the three major fishing ports in Tainan. The port has over a hundred motorized rubber rafts, making it the largest rubber raft fishing port in Tainan. These rafts are often used to transport oysters from the oyster farms and are frequently hired by anglers for sea fishing, allowing them to enjoy the coastal fishing experience. The Luzhugou Fishing Port is adjacent to the oyster farms, where one can see the neatly arranged oyster racks from the port. During the transition from day to night, the evening glow appears, and the lake's surface is dyed with vibrant colors, creating a spectacular and therapeutic fishing port scenery that attracts many photographers to set up tripods to capture the moment.
