Luzhukou Tourist Fishing Harbor Introduction
Luzhugou is a fishing village located in San Guang Li, Beimen District, Tainan City. In the early years, it was named Luzhugou because access to the village required crossing numerous canal bridges built with bamboo on the northern bank of the estuary between the Sanliao Bay and the mouth of the Jiangjun River. Luzhugou Fishing Port, also known as Beimen Fishing Port, is one of the three major fishing ports in Tainan. The fishing port has hundreds of motorized rubber rafts, making it the largest rubber raft fishing port in Tainan. These rafts are often used to transport oysters from the oyster farms, and many sea fishing enthusiasts hire rafts to fish offshore, enjoying the pleasure of coastal fishing. Luzhugou Fishing Port is adjacent to oyster farms, where visitors can observe the neatly arranged oyster racks. During the twilight, the sunset creates stunning reflections on the lake's surface, presenting a spectacular and soothing scenery of the fishing port, which attracts many photographers who set up tripods to capture this view.
