Luzhu Creek Tourist Fishing Port Introduction
Luzhigou is a fishing village located in San Guang Li, Beimen District, Tainan City. In earlier years, it was necessary to build bridges using reeds to access the village, which is situated on the northern bank of the estuary between the mouth of the Jianguo River and Sanliaowan. This area got its name, Luzhigou. Luzhigou Fishing Port, also known as Beimen Fishing Port, is one of the three major fishing ports in Tainan. The port has a hundred motorized rubber rafts and is the largest rubber raft fishing port in Tainan. These rafts are often used to transport oysters from the oyster farms, and fishing enthusiasts frequently hire the rafts to go fishing at sea, enjoying the recreational experience along the coast. The Luzhigou Fishing Port is adjacent to oyster farms, where visitors can see the neatly arranged oyster racks from the port. During dawn and dusk, the evening glow appears, coloring the lake's surface in vibrant hues, creating a spectacular and soothing view of the fishing port, which attracts many photographers who set up tripods to capture the scene.
