Luzhu Stream Tourist Fishing Port Introduction
Luzhugou is a fishing village located in San Guang Li of Beimen District, Tainan City. In the past, the area between the northern shore of the estuary where the Jianan River meets the sea, west of Sanliaowan, had many canals, and access to the village was possible only via a temporary bridge made of bamboo. This location is hence named Luzhugou. Luzhugou Fishing Port, also known as Beimen Fishing Port, is one of the three major fishing ports in Tainan. The port is home to hundreds of motorized inflatable rafts, making it the largest inflatable raft fishing port in Tainan. These rafts are often used to transport oysters from oyster farms, and sea anglers frequently hire these rafts to go fishing, enjoying the pleasures of coastal fishing. Luzhugou Fishing Port is adjacent to oyster farms, and visitors can gaze upon the neatly arranged oyster racks from the port. During the transition between day and night, the evening glow appears, coloring the lake surface with vibrant hues, creating a spectacular and soothing scenery that attracts many photographers who set up tripods to capture the view.
