Luzhu Creek Tourist Fishing Harbor Introduction
Luzhukou is a fishing village located in San Guang Li, Beimen District, Tainan City. In the early years, due to the many estuarine channels between the northern riverbanks at the mouth of the Jiangjun Creek west of Sanliaowan, one had to use a channel bridge made of bamboo to enter the village, which is how it got its name, Luzhukou. Luzhukou Fishing Port, also known as Beimen Fishing Port, is one of the three major fishing ports in Tainan. The fishing port has hundreds of motorized rubber rafts and is the largest rubber raft fishing port in Tainan. These rubber rafts are often used to transport oysters from the oyster farms and are frequently hired by sea anglers to go fishing, enjoying the pleasure of fishing along the coast. Luzhukou Fishing Port is adjacent to the oyster farms, where one can gaze at the neatly arranged oyster racks from the port. During the transition between day and night, the evening glow emerges, dyeing the lake’s surface with vibrant colors, creating a spectacular and soothing fishing port scenery that attracts many photographers to set up their tripods to capture the scene.
