Luzhukou is a fishing village located in Sanguangli, Beimen District, Tainan City. In the early days, due to the many channels at the river mouth between the north bank at the exit of Jianguan River, west of Sanliao Bay, access to the village was only possible via bamboo bridges built across the channels, hence the name Luzhukou. Luzhukou Fishing Port, also known as Beimen Fishing Port, is one of the three major fishing ports in Tainan. The fishing port has hundreds of motorized rubber rafts and is the largest rubber raft fishing port in Tainan. These rafts are often used to transport oysters from the oyster farms and are frequently hired by anglers for sea fishing, allowing them to enjoy the coastal fishing experience. The Luzhukou Fishing Port is adjacent to the oyster farms, where one can view the neatly arranged oyster racks from the port. During the transition of day and night, the evening glow appears, and the surface of the lake is dyed with vibrant colors, creating a spectacular and soothing scene of the fishing port that attracts many photographers to set up tripods to capture the moment.
