Mashagou 3D Painted Village Introduction
Masha Gou 3D Painting Village is centered around Lisheng Temple, with artworks scattered in various corners, sometimes on the main streets and at other times in alleys, allowing visitors to experience the atmosphere of "art at every turn and surprises in the alleys," distinct from typical painting villages. Walking into Masha Gou 3D Painting Village is like entering a fantasy world; the colorful artwork on the walls and floors, filled with childlike wonder and local fishing village characteristics, is breathtaking. The rich simplicity of life and warmth in Masha Gou also contribute to a magical realism atmosphere. Among the most distinctive and stunning paintings is "The Pegasus Soars," located right in front of Lisheng Temple, standing impressively at two stories high. Masha Gou is the hometown of Mr. Wu Ching-Yo, the founder of Eslite Bookstore, which is why there is also a painting called "Knowledge is Beneficial," depicting a wall of stacked books bridged by a brush, reflecting the essence of Eslite's culture. The playful painting style showcases the unique charm of the small fishing village of Masha Gou, with surrounding works like "Meow Meow Loves Eating Mullet," "Hippo Gazing at the Moon," and "Kitten Drying Fish." Whether it’s the giant octopus or the mullet roe, these symbolic products of the fishing village all become the main characters of the 3D paintings. The artworks were created by teacher Zeng Jin-Cheng, who thoughtfully marks the best photo spots, making it easy for visiting travelers to capture great pictures!
