Walking into Matsu 3D Painting Village feels like entering a fantastical world, where the whimsical and locally inspired colorful artworks on the walls and floors are breathtaking. The strong sense of simplicity and warmth in Matsu adds a touch of magical realism. The most distinctive and stunning painting is "The Flying Pegasus," located right in front of Li Sheng Temple, standing at an impressive two stories tall. Matsu is also the hometown of Mr. Wu Ching-yu, the founder of Eslite Bookstore, which inspired another painting titled "Reading Benefits," depicting stacked books forming a book wall, with a brush serving as a bridge, reflecting the essence of Eslite's culture. The playful artistic style showcases the unique fishing village charm of Matsu, and nearby artworks include "Meow Meow Loves Eating Mullet," "Hippopotamus Gazing at the Moon," and "Kitten Drying Fish."
