Jiangjun Fishing Harbor Introduction
Jiangjun Fishing Port is a weekend fish market and fish auction market, and it will also serve as an important port for the future offshore green highway route around Taiwan. Entering Jiangjun Fishing Port, visitors can enjoy the sight of fishing boats and fishing villages, learn about various catches, and taste fresh seafood caught on the same day. Most fishermen engaged in nearshore fishing set out to sea in the middle of the night or early morning and return to port around noon or afternoon to sort their catches. Between 1 to 2 PM every day, the auction house buzzes with the lively auction of fresh seafood, whether it's fish, shrimp, or scallops, all of which are the freshest and most delicious. Visitors are welcome to explore the fish market and indulge in a feast! In recent years, during the summer, the Tainan City Government has hosted the Tainan Summer Music Festival - Jiangjun Roar at Jiangjun Fishing Port, inviting famous singers to perform and featuring exciting fireworks shows, attracting people from all over Taiwan to experience the vibrant summer atmosphere.
