Jiangjun Fishing Port Introduction
Jiangjun Fishing Port is a weekend fish market and fish auction market, as well as an important port for the future Taiwan Circumference Sea Green Highway route. Entering Jiangjun Fishing Port, visitors can appreciate the sights of fishing boats and fishing villages, learn about various catches, and enjoy fresh seafood caught that day. Most fishermen engaged in nearshore fishing set out to sea in the middle of the night or early morning and return to port by noon or afternoon to sort their catches. Between 1 PM and 2 PM every day, the auction house becomes bustling with the auction of fresh seafood, where fish, shrimp, and scallops are all the freshest and most delicious. You are welcome to stroll through the fish market and indulge in a feast! In recent years, during the summer, the Tainan City Government has organized the Tainan Summer Music Festival - Jiangjun Roar at Jiangjun Fishing Port, inviting famous singers to perform, along with spectacular fireworks shows and other performances, attracting people from all over Taiwan to experience the vibrant summer atmosphere.
