Mashagou Ocean Leisure Sports Resort Introduction
[Announcement] Masha Bay Ocean Leisure Sports Resort Center is currently closed for maintenance. Masha Bay, located in Jiangjun District, was originally a traditional fishing village by the sea. At dusk, one can see a stunning view of the sunset reflecting on the sea with fishing boats, earning the area a reputation as one of Tainan's Eight Scenic Spots, known as "Green Sands and Boat Shadows." Masha Bay features fine sandy beaches and clear waters. After planning in the 1980s, it was equipped with numerous vendors and diverse water activities, attracting large crowds of tourists during the summer, marking the peak of Masha Bay's glory. However, the facilities in Masha Bay became old and gradually declined. In 2018, the management office of the Yunlin-Chiayi-Nantou Coastal National Scenic Area revitalized the "Masha Bay Ocean Leisure Sports Resort Center," which began operations in June 2020. The newly renovated resort center includes swimming areas, jet skis, and other recreational facilities. The rich amenities coupled with the unique coastal conditions quickly restored Masha Bay to its former splendor. The carefully renovated Masha Bay not only offers a variety of leisure activities but also has well-planned safety measures for water activities. Lifeguards regularly monitor safety conditions in the recreational area, providing a safe and comfortable experience for visitors.
