Mashagou Ocean Recreation and Sports Resort Introduction
【Announcement】Mashagou Ocean Recreation and Sports Resort is currently closed for maintenance. Mashagou is located in Jiangjun District and was originally a traditional coastal fishing village. At dusk, one can see the scenic view of the sky filled with sunset hues reflecting on the sea with fishing boats, earning it the title of one of Tainan's Eight Scenic Views, known as "Green Sand and Sail Shadows." Mashagou features fine sandy beaches and clear waters. After planning in the 1980s, it established numerous vendors and diverse water activities, attracting large crowds of tourists every summer, marking its glorious period. The facilities at Mashagou became old and gradually declined. In 2018, the Management Office of the Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan Coastal National Scenic Area revitalized the "Mashagou Ocean Recreation and Sports Resort," which began operations in June 2020. The revamped resort includes swimming areas, jet skiing, and other recreational facilities. The rich amenities, combined with its unique coastal conditions, quickly restored Mashagou to its former glory. The carefully renovated Mashagou not only offers a variety of recreational activities but also has a well-planned safety rescue system, with lifeguards monitoring safety conditions in the recreation area, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for visitors.
