Mashi Bay Ocean Leisure Sports Resort Introduction
**Announcement**: The Matsu Ocean Leisure Sports Resort Center is currently closed for maintenance. Matsu is located in the Jiangjun District and was originally a traditional coastal fishing village. At dusk, one can witness the beautiful sunset illuminating the sea with fishing boats dotting the horizon, earning it the title of "Green Sands and Sail Shadows," one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Tainan in the past. Matsu features fine sandy beaches and clear waters. After planning in the 1980s, it became home to numerous vendors and diverse water activities, attracting large crowds of tourists during summer, marking its peak period. However, the facilities in Matsu became outdated and gradually declined. In 2018, the management office of the Yunjianan Coastal National Scenic Area revamped the "Matsu Ocean Leisure Sports Resort Center," which began operations in June 2020. The renovated resort has added swimming areas, jet skis, and other recreational facilities. The rich amenities combined with its exceptional coastal conditions have quickly reinstated Matsu's former glory. Besides the variety of leisure activities post-renovation, safety measures for water activities have been well-planned, with lifeguards monitoring safety conditions in the recreation area, providing a secure and comfortable experience for visiting tourists.
