Mashagou Ocean Leisure Sports Resort Introduction
【Announcement】Masha Gou Ocean Leisure Sports Resort is currently closed for maintenance. Masha Gou is located in the Jiangjun District and was originally a traditional fishing village by the coast. At dusk, one can see the stunning sunset reflecting on the water with fishing boats dotting the scenery, earning it the nickname "Green Sandy Sail Shadows," one of the Eight Sights of Tainan in the past. Masha Gou also features fine sandy beaches and clear waters. After planning in the 1980s, it established numerous stalls and diverse water activities, attracting large numbers of tourists every summer, marking the peak of Masha Gou's glory. However, the facilities in Masha Gou became old and gradually declined. In 2018, the management office of the Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan Coastal National Scenic Area revamped the "Masha Gou Ocean Leisure Sports Resort," which began operations in June 2020. The renovated resort offers a swimming area, jet skis, and other recreational facilities, along with its unique coastal conditions, allowing Masha Gou to quickly regain its former popularity. After the careful renovation, Masha Gou not only offers a rich variety of leisure activities but also has a well-planned safety rescue system in the water play areas, with lifeguards regularly monitoring the safety of the visitors, providing a safe and comfortable experience for travelers.
