Masha Gou Marine Leisure Sports Resort Introduction
Announcement: The Masha Gou Ocean Leisure Sports Resort Center is currently closed for maintenance. Masha Gou is located in Jiangjun District and was originally a traditional fishing village along the coast. At dusk, one can see the beautiful sunset reflecting on the sea with fishing boats scattered about, which earned it the title of one of Tainan's Eight Scenic Views, "Green Swash Sail Shadows." Masha Gou also features fine sandy beaches and clear waters. After planning in the 1980s, it established numerous stalls and a variety of water activities, attracting large numbers of tourists every summer, marking its most glorious period. However, the facilities in Masha Gou became outdated and gradually declined. In 2018, the management office of the Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan Coastal National Scenic Area renovated the "Masha Gou Ocean Leisure Sports Resort Center," which began operations in June 2020. The renovated resort center includes a swimming area, jet skis, and other recreational facilities. With its rich amenities and exceptional coastal conditions, Masha Gou quickly regained its former popularity. After careful renovation, Masha Gou not only offers a variety of leisure options but also has proper planning for safety and rescue, with lifeguards regularly monitoring safety conditions in the recreational area to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for visitors.
