The owner, Wu Chen Hsiu Li, was originally a homemaker. Shortly after giving birth to her youngest child, she wanted to start a small business to help with household expenses, inspired by the local availability of oysters and seafood, she decided to sell oyster omelettes. Wu Chen Hsiu Li began by trying various oyster omelettes, observing how other vendors set up their stalls, prepared ingredients, and fried the omelettes. After experimenting at home, she self-taught herself to fry the omelettes. She set up her stall in front of the Zhuang Miao Li Sheng Gong Temple.
