Tainan Golf Club Introduction
Tainan Xinhua Golf Course was planned and developed during the Martial Law period, initiated by former legislator Ms. Liang Hsu-Chun-Chiu in 1967. She recognized that golf would become an increasingly popular sport in the future and could help cultivate noble character. Many respected individuals in society enthusiastically participated and co-signed as founding members. With the assistance of General He Ying-Qin and other relevant individuals, the land for the golf course was planned at the foot of the Hutou Pi Mountain. The front nine holes were completed in March 1971, and the back nine holes were completed in 1978, making it an 18-hole course. In 1998, the back nine holes were renovated and reopened, sparking a golf movement in southern Taiwan! Tainan Golf Course is one of the oldest golf courses in southern Taiwan, located just over 10 kilometers from Tainan City, making it very accessible. The lush green course combined with picturesque scenery enhances the golfing experience, providing both physical and mental relief.
