Tainan Xinhua Golf Course was planned and developed during the Martial Law period by former legislator Ms. Liang Hsu-Chun in 1967. Recognizing that golf would gradually become a popular sport that could cultivate noble character, prominent figures in society actively participated and jointly signed as initiators. Meanwhile, with the help of General He Yingqin and other related individuals, the land for the golf course was planned at the foot of the Hutoupi Mountain. The first nine holes were completed in March 1971, and the remaining nine holes were finished in 1978, making it an 18-hole course. In 1998, the back nine holes were renovated and reopened, sparking a golf movement in southern Taiwan! Tainan Golf Course is one of the oldest golf courses in southern Taiwan, located just over 10 kilometers from Tainan City, making it very accessible. The lush green fairways, along with picturesque scenery, make playing golf a refreshing experience.

Tainan Xinhua Golf Course was planned and developed during the Martial Law period. With assistance from General He Ying-Qin and others, the site for the golf course was planned at the foothills of Hutoupi.
