Tainan Old Bookstore Introduction
The old bookstore in Fort City is well-stocked with a complete collection of Taiwanese literature and cultural publications. It also has a poetry editing department and hosts various arts and cultural exhibitions, featuring numerous rare books available only for those destined to find them. Regular storytelling activities are held, led by one of the store owners, Sister Pan, who shares old stories of Tainan through picture books, making it a favorite among local readers of all ages for many years. In addition to Taiwanese literature, indigenous literature and Taiwanese language literature are also cultivated here, making it a gathering place for literary figures next to East Gate.
