Tao Yu Village Qian Yao Leisure Pottery Workshop Introduction
In 1991, the three brothers, sons of a farmer from Zhuannei, decided to establish their craft studio in their hometown, returning to this village that once had a brick kiln. The second brother, Hou Chunting, graduated from National Cultural University, possessing professional knowledge along with over 20 years of practical experience. He has created hundreds of pieces, incorporating not only traditional ceramics but also elements of lifestyle pottery and Western styles, showcasing his abundant creativity. He has won multiple National Leaf King Awards and achieved notable results in various competitions. His public art works include several groundbreaking projects, such as the large mural in Alishan Scenic Area and the public art seating at Yingge Ceramics Museum.
