Founded from scratch by the first generation, it originally gained fame for its shaved ice, and only offered spring rolls during the Qingming Festival. The unique feature of these spring rolls, aside from their abundant delicious fillings, is that they are twice the size of regular spring rolls. The reason for this is that in the early days of Taiwanese agriculture, many people worked in the fields, and to ensure customers could eat to their heart's content and have the strength to work, they would include an extra portion of fried noodles.
