Yang Hwa Residence Introduction
Yang Huanai was a distinguished general during the Qianlong and Jiaqing eras, known for his campaigns against Lin Shuangwen and the eradication of coastal bandits. His ancestral home is a traditional Minnanese building of the Sanluo Grand House, featuring the left guardian dragon. The entrance hall is adorned with three river ridges, and the front and back halls are configured with a dragon and swallow ridge. The detailed decorations are extremely exquisite, with notable wooden and brick carvings of dragons on the door blocks. Although the woodwork between the beams and columns has lost its splendid painting, the strength of the carvings is still evident.
