Yang Hua Residence Introduction
Yang Huanai was a distinguished general during the Qianlong and Jiaqing reigns, known for suppressing the Lin Shuangwen incident and eliminating maritime bandits. His ancestral home is a traditional Fujian-style building known as Sanluo Dazhu, featuring a Zuo Hu Long (Left Guardian Dragon) design. The entrance hall is adorned with three river ridges, and the front and rear halls feature a dragon-and-swallow ridge. The intricate details in the decorations are remarkable, with impressive wooden carvings and brick sculptures of coiled dragons on the door blocks. Although the colorful paintings on the beams and columns have faded, the strong craftsmanship of the carvings remains evident.
