Guo Xing Well Introduction
Guoxing Well is located in Xiatian Village. Over three hundred years ago, Koxinga (Zheng Chenggong) landed on Little Kinmen with his troops and arrived in the Xiatian area. His soldiers were exhausted and could not find drinking water. Koxinga pointed his sword at the ground, commanding his men to dig a well where the sword pointed. Soon, a fresh spring gushed forth, and it has flowed continuously ever since. The locals respectfully call it "Guoxing Well." The well still has clear spring water today and welcomes visitors to draw water for use.
