Koxing Wells Introduction
National Hero's Well is located in Xiadian Village. Over three hundred years ago, Koxinga (Zheng Chenggong) landed in Little Kinmen and arrived at the Xiadian area, where his troops were exhausted and could not find drinking water. Koxinga pointed his sword at the ground and ordered his soldiers to dig a well at the spot indicated by the sword. Soon, fresh and clear spring water gushed forth, and it has not dried up over the years. The local people affectionately refer to it as "National Hero's Well." There is still clear spring water in the well, and visitors are welcome to draw water for use.
