Guoxing Well Introduction
Guoxing Well is located in Xiatian Village. More than three hundred years ago, Zheng Chenggong landed in Little Kinmen with his troops and came to the vicinity of Xiatian. His soldiers were exhausted and unable to find drinking water. Zheng Chenggong pointed his sword at the ground and commanded his soldiers to dig a well at the location indicated by the sword. Soon, a sweet and clear spring emerged, which has continued to flow over the years. It is revered by the locals as "Guoxing Well." The well still has clear spring water today, and visitors are welcome to draw water for use.
