Guoxing Well Introduction
Guoxing Well is located in Xiatian Village. Over three hundred years ago, Zheng Chenggong (also known as Koxinga) landed in Small Kinmen with his troops and arrived in the Xiatian area. His soldiers were exhausted and unable to find drinking water. Zheng Chenggong then pointed his sword at the ground and ordered his soldiers to dig a well where the sword pointed. Soon after, a sweet and clear spring gushed forth, which has never run dry over the years. Locals affectionately call it "Guoxing Well." The well still has clear spring water today, welcoming visitors to draw and use it.
