Fort Warrior Introduction
Yongshi Fort, one of the three forts on lieyu, covers a vast area and requires crossing a small bridge, traversing a three-meter-deep trench and a gradual slope to enter. Behind a camouflage net stands the grand entrance marked with the words "Yongshi Fort," reflecting the tense atmosphere of lieyu being on the front line at that time. Yongshi Fort is divided into two levels: the upper level mainly consists of artillery fort, Zhongshan Room, and bedrooms; the underground section features eight machine gun bunkers, four ammunition depots, and a fire water reservoir, with the most notable being a tank fort. Inside the fort, there are hundreds of meters of underground transportation tunnels connecting the main military facilities below ground, which also link to Tiehann Fort, a site open for tourism. The tunnels have been transformed into a landmine exhibition hall, allowing visitors to experience the feeling of traversing underground.
