Fort Warrior Introduction

One of the three forts in Lieyu, Yongshi Fort covers a vast area. To enter the fort, visitors must cross a small bridge over a three-meter-deep moat and a gentle slope. Behind a camouflage net is the large gate marked with the name 'Yongshi Fort', highlighting the tense atmosphere of Lieyu being on the front line at that time. Yongshi Fort is divided into two levels; the upper level mainly consists of artillery bunkers, a Sun Yat-sen Room, and dormitories. The underground part has eight machine gun bunkers, four ammunition depots, and a firefighting water tank, with a particularly noteworthy armored vehicle bunker. Within the fort, there is also a network of underground passageways that connect the main military facilities below ground and link to the nearby Tiehan Fort, which is also open for tourism. The tunnels have been renovated into a mine exhibition hall, allowing visitors to experience the sensation of moving underground.
