Forged by the trials of war, Iron Fortress and Warrior Fortress once bore the mission of defending the homeland, becoming important bastions for safeguarding the country. Once the conflicts subsided, and with the rise of tourism, the military remnants in Little Kinmen became places of great curiosity for visitors. In addition to the opening of the fortresses, many areas have been transformed into themed exhibitions. The underground passage connecting Warrior Fortress and Iron Fortress has become a unique landmine-themed museum! Here, various styles of landmines and their history are displayed, and visitors can engage in an interactive experience simulating a landmine area, where one must tread carefully with each step to avoid triggering a simulated landmine and startling themselves with the sound of explosions!
