Wuzhiyu Introduction
Along Yu-Zhang Road, near the Haiyin Temple at Mount Taiwu, you can reach the "Do Not Forget in Ju" stone inscription, which was personally inscribed by President Chiang Kai-shek. This phrase served to inspire the military and civilians in the wartime to emulate the spirit of Tian Dan from the Warring States period in Qi, overcoming the odds. The stone carving, standing on the cliff, is several tens of meters high and is one of the most famous landmarks in Kinmen, now a popular spot for tourists to take photos. Although Mount Taiwu is only 253 meters above sea level, it offers a variety of hiking trails with differing levels of difficulty for visitors to choose from. In addition to the easy-to-walk Yu-Zhang Road Trail and the Cai-Tsuo Ancient Trail, the Dou-Men Ancient Trail, which requires rope climbing, is also quite popular. Once you reach the summit, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Kinmen!
