Victory Gate Introduction

This commemorative gate was originally the site of the "823 Bombardment Memorial," shaped like a shell, built to commemorate the fierce attack during the 1958 823 Artillery Battle when the Nationalist army bravely defended their position against over 260,000 enemy shells, ultimately achieving a glorious victory.
