Ichiro Mackerel Soup Introduction
Located near the Baigang Chaotian Temple, there is a local eatery specializing in dinner to late-night snacks - Yichang Tuo Yu Geng. Established in the 1960s, it is currently managed by the second-generation owner, Xu Yichang. Our floating fish soup uses Tuo fish dipped in sweet potato flour and boiled until it floats, then topped with cabbage and egg flower, creating a fresh and delicious flavor. The fish is chunky and has a great chewiness, making it one of the favorite late-night snacks among the locals. In addition, we also offer tender and chewy braised pork knuckles and aromatic pork rib rice, which are classic dishes that food enthusiasts must try!
