Zhenxing Theatre Introduction
Teahouse and Cakes, the nostalgic old theater was originally built in the late Qing Dynasty and later transformed into a Western-style building. It ceased operations due to the popularity of television. The theater still retains its high ceiling space and occasionally hosts arts and cultural performances. Drinking tea and enjoying cakes inside the theater is a favorite activity among the elders. The Zhengxing Theater was established in 1954 when movie screenings became a trend, attracting a steady flow of customers every day. However, as television became more common, the theater's business was significantly impacted, leading to its closure.
