Zhenxing Theater Introduction
The Nostalgic Old Theater, originally built during the late Qing Dynasty, was later transformed into a Western-style building and eventually ceased operations due to the popularity of television. It still retains the theater's high ceiling space and occasionally hosts art performances. Enjoying tea and pastries inside the theater has become a favorite pastime for the elders. The Zhengxing Theater was established in 1954 when movie screenings became a popular trend, attracting a continuous stream of visitors daily; however, as television became more common, the theater’s business was severely impacted, leading to its closure.
