Zhenxing Theater Introduction
The Nostalgic Old Theater, originally built in the late Qing Dynasty, was later transformed into a Western-style building and closed down due to the popularity of television. It still retains the high space of the theater and occasionally holds cultural exhibitions and performances. Sitting inside the theater to enjoy tea and cakes has become a favorite pastime for the elderly. The Zhengxing Theater was established in 1954 during the peak of the movie craze, attracting crowds every day. However, as television became more common, the theater's business was severely impacted, leading to its closure.
