Beigang Temple Back Red Turtle Introduction
Inheriting four generations of tradition, we adhere to ancient methods. The filling is made from local Beigang peanuts and Taiwanese rice, preserving the most traditional and classic flavor of red turtle cake. The signature red turtle cakes in our shop use fillings sourced from local Beigang peanuts, which not only provide a fragrant aroma but also a richer taste. The rice is also local Taiwanese rice, creating a soft and chewy texture that does not become mushy immediately. Our methods and ingredients are rooted in traditional practices, with reduced sweetness and oil to align with modern health preferences. In addition to passing down the delicious taste of red turtle cake, we also strive to recover the long-lost flavors of traditional steamed buns and develop new products like grilled mochi, which have become the shop's unique desserts.
