The entrance is adorned with a wooden sign for "Shuang Gao Run," which can easily be overlooked if you're not paying attention, making this old-fashioned snack hard to find. Here, the "Shuang Gao Run" consists of two layers of chewy and soft rice cakes with a filling of brown sugar in between. Taking a bite reveals a strong aroma of brown sugar, sweet but not overwhelming, and very refreshing. Operating hours start at 7 AM and are available until sold out each day.
