The moving temple, commonly known as Liu Fang Ma, is a belief held in the towns of Douliu, Huwei, Dounan, Dapi, and Tuku in Yunlin County, as well as in Wugu and the thirty-six villages. It does not have a fixed temple; the Mazu statue follows the stove owner. Every year in the lunar calendar's fourth month, a "Guo Lu" ceremony is held, where tens of thousands of people move home together with Mazu. It is currently managed by the corporate entity called the Republic of China Liu Fang Ma Association.

Liufang Tian Shang Sheng Mu Introduction

The moving temple, commonly known as Liu Fang Ma, represents the beliefs of towns such as Douliu, Huwei, Dounan, Dapi, and Tuku in Yunlin, as well as the 36 villages of Wugu. There is no fixed temple, as the Mazu statue travels with the incense master. An offering ceremony is held every year in the fourth month of the lunar calendar, during which tens of thousands of people move together with Mazu.
