The moving temple, commonly known as Liu Fang Ma, serves the beliefs of towns such as Douliu, Huwei, Dounan, Dapi, and Tuku in Yunlin County, as well as the 36 villages in Wugu. It does not have a fixed temple; the Mazu statue travels with the priest. Every year in the lunar calendar's fourth month, a furnace-passing ceremony is held, and tens of thousands of people move along with Mazu. It is currently managed by the Republic of China Liu Fang Ma Association.
