The Moving Temple, commonly known as Liu Fang Ma, is a religious belief in towns such as Douliu, Huwei, Dou-Nan, Dapi, and Tuku in Yunlin County, as well as the thirty-six villages of Wugu. It does not have a fixed temple; the Mazu statue follows the burner. Every year in the lunar month of April, a ritual is held, during which tens of thousands of people move along with Mazu. It is currently managed by the Liu Fang Ma Association of the Republic of China.
