Tuku Shuncheng Oil Factory Introduction
The purity of sesame oil, rich and fragrant upon entering the throat. Mr. Wang Jin-chang, the original head chef, has always adhered to his heartfelt intention throughout his life—"to find a suitable sesame oil that is aromatic but not harsh." Thus, he founded an oil factory and has persisted to this day. In addition to the rich, authentic sesame oil, the Poppy Sauce series is also a must-try delicacy. Shun Cheng Oil Factory was established in the 1940s, a traditional sesame oil shop founded by a head chef. The founder, Mr. Wang Jin-chang, was originally a head chef in Tuku, Yunlin. Due to his meticulousness in cooking, he attempted to create the sesame oil he desired, from carefully selecting raw materials, roasting times, to cooking durations. After gaining public recognition, the head chef began to focus on making sesame oil, believing that if he worked steadily and earnestly, success would follow; hence, he named it "Shun Cheng Oil Factory." In recent years, in addition to preserving traditional cold-pressed oils, the factory has continuously developed new products, including flavored oils, ice pops, sesame paste, grain powder, and peanut candy, hoping to modernize the old shop.
