Da Ba 69 Scenic Restaurant Introduction
Dabalixiu (Tamalakau) means "warrior" in the Puyuma language. It is located at an altitude of 600 meters in the Dabalixiu Medicinal Plant Zone in Beinan Township, Taitung County. The area covers more than three hectares of mountainous terrain, including over one hectare dedicated to medicinal plants and wild vegetables, where hundreds of vibrant fruits and herbs are cultivated. The "Dabalixiu Scenic Restaurant," with its breathtaking views, is also situated within the park. The observation platform standing in the park allows visitors to take in the expansive scenery, from the flowers and green trees at their feet to the plains of Taitung City and the Pacific coastline in the distance. The vast view provides a quick sense of relaxation, as if one has entered a paradise. Breathing deeply and slowly connecting with the earth can help find inner peace. The "Dabalixiu Scenic Restaurant" focuses on self-grown vegetables, allowing guests to pick their own vegetables and blanch them. It also offers a variety of healthy soups, such as thunder tea soup and five-element soup, as well as bay leaf steamed rice, fruits, and sweet soups. Everyone is warmly welcome to enjoy clean, natural, healthy, and delicious meals while taking in the beautiful scenery of Taitung, nourishing both body and mind.
