Da Ba Liu Jiu Scenic Restaurant Introduction
Tamalakau means "warrior" in the language of the Puyuma tribe. It is located at an elevation of 600 meters in the "Tamalakau Medicinal Plant Park" in Beinan Township, Taitung County. The park covers over three hectares of mountainous terrain, including more than one hectare dedicated to medicinal plants and wild vegetables, cultivating hundreds of fresh fruits and herbs. The "Tamalakau Scenic Restaurant" offers breathtaking views. The observation platform situated within the park allows visitors to take in the vast scenery, from the flourishing flora at their feet to the plains of Taitung City and the Pacific coastline in the distance. The expansive views offer a quick sense of relaxation, resembling a paradise on earth, as visitors take a deep breath and gradually connect with nature to find inner peace. The "Tamalakau Scenic Restaurant" focuses on home-grown vegetables, allowing guests to pick and blanch their own produce. It also offers various nutritious soups such as the Thunder God Tea Chicken Soup and Five Elements Soup, as well as bay leaf steamed rice, fruits, and sweet soups.
