Xia Binlang Tribe Introduction
Xia Binlang Tribe Pinaski is located at the northern exit of the famous green tunnel in Taitung. It is a smaller tribe among the eight clans of the Puyuma people. Despite having a small population of only about 70 households, the tribe spares no effort in cultural preservation. The tribe has a youth cultural dance troupe called the Pinaski Youth Cultural Dance Troupe, which is often invited to perform during major events. Under the guidance of teacher Lin Hui-ying, the troupe's performances are no longer limited to traditional Puyuma music and dance but incorporate different performance techniques such as stage plays and musical dramas into traditional presentations. 【Source: Tribal Backpacker Taitung Tribe Travel Guide】
