Xiabinglang Village Introduction
Pinaski Tribe is located at the northern exit of the famous Green Tunnel in Taitung, and it is one of the smaller tribes among the Puyuma people's eight communities. Despite having a relatively small population of around 70 households, the tribe makes great efforts in cultural preservation. There is a youth cultural dance troupe, the Pinaski Youth Cultural Dance Troupe, which is often invited to perform during large events. Under the guidance of teacher Lin Hui-Ying, their performances go beyond traditional Puyuma dance and music, incorporating different styles of presentation such as stage plays and musical theatre into their traditional performances.
