Chen's Mochi Shop Introduction
The shop's signature "Handmade Mochi" was selected as one of the Top Ten Travel Souvenirs and Specialty Foods in Taitung County in 2012. Chen's Mochi has inherited three generations of craftsmanship, faithfully presenting the taste and flavor developed over 70 years. From selling on the streets with bamboo baskets in the early days to establishing a new storefront, they adhere to the belief that quality comes first, using high-quality round glutinous rice from the eastern region. Handmade daily and sold fresh, the mochi is hygienic and absolutely free of preservatives, ensuring double the health benefits and uncompromised deliciousness.
