Chen's Mochi Shop Introduction
The signature dish "Handmade Mochi" was selected as one of the top ten travel souvenirs and specialty foods in Taitung County in 2012. Chen's Mochi has inherited craftsmanship through three generations, faithfully presenting the taste and flavor cultivated over 70 years. From selling on the streets with bamboo baskets in the early days to establishing a new storefront, the commitment to quality comes first. Using high-quality round glutinous rice from the eastern part of Taiwan, the mochi is made by hand and sold fresh daily, ensuring hygiene without the addition of preservatives, making it both healthy and delicious.
