Ying Hui Traditional Art Workshop Introduction
In her childhood at school, watching the senior students weave, Ms. Luo Ying-hui developed a great interest in tribal crafts and secretly vowed to carve out her own path through weaving skills in the future. Diligently, she collected leftover fabric scraps from her seniors to practice hard; after graduating from elementary school, she went to a garment factory to hone her skills. After 15 years of effort, she finally established the Ying-hui Original Art Workshop. Besides building a good reputation in her hometown, she often participates in exhibitions in Taipei. With the idea of inheritance and sharing, she now leads the mothers in the tribe to stitch clothing and accessories with a strong indigenous style, satisfying the needs of the tribe while captivating many urbanites who love indigenous style. Through Ms. Luo's leadership, she injects contemporary elements into all works, giving indigenous crafts a new vitality and preserving the most beautiful traditions of the tribe.
