Tang Tribe Introduction
Duoliang Village is a settlement at the southernmost point of Taimali Township, which is divided into Upper Duoliang and Lower Duoliang, where most residents currently live. Following a path up from the entrance and after a few bends, one can see the long-abandoned Duoliang Railway Station, which is regarded as the most beautiful station in Taiwan and a holy place for many photography enthusiasts. In Duoliang, visitors can also visit the Xiangyang Xinchuan Carpentry Workshop, located at the site of the former Duoliang Elementary School. Besides crafting large wooden furniture, the workshop also produces traditional toys like tangrams for children. In the nearby Lang Tribe, dining and accommodation options are limited, so it's recommended for tourists seeking lodging to head to Jinlun Township, where more choices are available. Jinlun is also known for its hot spring area, featuring numerous inns that offer hot spring bathing services.
