Opened in 1999, Paiwan designer Luo Zhijuan was greatly influenced by traditional culture and developed a keen interest in fashion design from a young age. She focuses on improving Paiwan handicrafts and creations to introduce the beauty of the Paiwan people to a wider audience. By using traditional Paiwan designs as a foundation and combining them with modern fashion elements, she tirelessly works to enhance related traditional Paiwan products. Currently, she collaborates with government projects to improve clothing using a unique jade fiber material native to Eastern Taiwan, combined with traditional threads, and has developed an exclusive jade fiber blending technique. The blended threads are applied in Paiwan cross-stitch products, not only enhancing the texture of traditional garments but also significantly improving the delicacy of the embroidered totems. This innovative design product has become one of the exemplary cases in promoting Taiwan's indigenous products.
