Founded in 1999, Paiwan designer Lo Chih-Chuan developed a strong interest in improving Paiwan crafts and creations due to the influence of traditional culture and her passion for fashion design. To help more people recognize the beauty of the Paiwan tribe, she focuses on traditional Paiwan designs while incorporating modern fashion elements, tirelessly improving traditional Paiwan-related products. Currently, she is collaborating with government projects to enhance clothing designs by using the unique jade fiber material from Eastern Taiwan combined with traditional threads. She has developed a proprietary technique for blending jade fiber, using the blended threads in Paiwan cross-stitch products, which not only improves the quality of traditional attire but also significantly enhances the delicacy of the embroidered totems, making innovative designed products a model for elevating Taiwanese indigenous products.
