Sakura Valley Clothing Store Introduction
Founded in 1999, designer Luo Zhijuan from the Paiwan tribe developed a strong interest in improving Paiwan crafts and creations due to her upbringing influenced by traditional culture and her passion for fashion design. To promote the beauty of the Paiwan tribe to a wider audience, she focuses on traditional Paiwan designs while integrating modern fashionable elements, tirelessly working to enhance traditional Paiwan-related products. Currently, she is collaborating with government programs to combine the locally unique jade fiber materials from Eastern Taiwan with traditional yarn, developing a proprietary jade fiber blending technique. The blended yarn is applied in the cross-stitch products of the Paiwan tribe, not only improving the texture of traditional clothing but also significantly enhancing the intricacy of the embroidered totem patterns, making innovative design products a model for elevating Taiwan's indigenous products.
