"Bi Ya" is the phonetic translation of the Paiwan name of the owner, Li Hsing-Ling. In 1999, he opened "Bi Ya's Grass House" on the essential road from Taimali to Jinzhen Mountain. It is an indigenous studio of the Paiwan tribe, and together with his mother's studio next door, "Mama Chen's Studio," it has become an attractive place for tourists along the way to Jinzhen Mountain, drawing attention and encouraging visitors to stop and explore.
