"Biaya" is the romanization of the Paiwan name of the shop owner, Ling Li-xing. In 1999, he opened "Biaya's Grass Hut" along the essential road from Taimali to Jinzhen Mountain, serving as a studio for the Paiwan indigenous people. Together with his mother’s adjacent "Mama Chen Studio," they create a charming spot that attracts tourists along the way to Jinzhen Mountain, encouraging them to stop and stay awhile.
