Penghu Story Wife Museum Introduction
Penghu Story Bride is a unique store focused on creative artworks, co-founded by Chen Zhenxiu and Liu Weizhi. In 2003, coinciding with the inauguration of a series of events for the Barrel Art Festival, including the establishment of an art museum, the Penghu Story Bride Art Museum officially opened at the Fisherman's Wharf, along with activities for the festival. The establishment of this museum connects the historical trajectory of the Barrel Art Festival and serves as a testament to the artistic vision of Story Bride and the Barrel Village. In the future, it will serve as a long-term space for creative presentations by artists of the Barrel Art Village and will also take on the important responsibility of enhancing local culture and connecting Taiwan with international art groups and various art museums. The museum has three floors, with the first floor dedicated to cultural merchandise sales and a service desk, while the second floor and above will be planned as exhibition space to showcase the results of a series of works by creators. The name "Penghu Story Bride" was chosen because the owner felt like she was a wife who frequently tells stories to her friends through long letters, and since that day, she began to sign as "Story Bride."
