Penghu Story Wife Art Museum Introduction
Penghu Story Wife is a特色 store that focuses on creative art products, founded by the couple Chen Zhenxiu and Liu Weizhi. In 2003, in conjunction with a series of events for the桶盤 Art Festival, including the establishment of an art museum, the Penghu Story Wife Art Museum located at the Fisherman's Wharf officially opened and held an opening event as part of the art festival. The establishment of the museum connects the past trajectories of the桶盤 Art Festival to the present, witnessing the artistic vision of Story Wife and桶盤 Village. It will serve as a long-term space for creators' performances in桶盤 Art Village in the future, while also enhancing local culture and connecting with various international art groups and museums in Taiwan. The museum has three floors: the first floor is for cultural product exhibitions and information services, while the second floor and above will be planned as exhibition spaces to showcase the results of creators' series works. The name "Penghu Story Wife" comes from the owner's long-standing practice of writing letters to friends, which made her feel like a wife who often tells stories for the other person. Therefore, from that day on, she began to sign her letters as "Story Wife."
