Penghu Story Wife Museum Introduction
Penghu Story Wife is a distinctive store focused on creative art pieces, co-founded by Chen Zhenxiu and Liu Weizhi. In 2003, in conjunction with the activities of the Drum and Pan Art Festival, including the establishment of an art museum, the Penghu Story Wife Art Museum officially opened at Fisherman's Wharf and held an opening event for the art festival. The establishment of the museum connects the historical trajectory of the Drum and Pan Art Festival to the present, witnessing the artistic vision of Story Wife and Dongpan Village. In the future, it will serve as a long-term space for creators' performances in Dongpan Art Village and also play a critical role in enhancing local culture and connecting with Taiwan's interactions with international art groups and various art museums. The museum has three floors; the first floor consists of cultural merchandise displays and service areas, while the second floor and above are planned as exhibition spaces to showcase the works of creators. The name "Penghu Story Wife" was chosen because the owner felt like a wife who frequently tells stories to her friend, as she wrote letters to them for a long time, so from that day on, she began signing as "Story Wife."
