Lijin Traditional Tofu Pudding Introduction

Since its establishment in 1986, Li Jin Douhua has a history of over 20 years, starting from a tricycle stall to now having its own storefront. The Douhua is made from pure yellow soybeans, which are soaked in water for 3 to 4 hours before being ground, adhering to the traditional methods of making Douhua, resulting in a rich yellow soybean aroma and a delicate, smooth texture. All ingredients are freshly cooked the day before, making it fresher compared to some shops that rely on factory supplies. Another distinctive feature of "Li Jin Douhua" is the addition of a large amount of "shaved ice" to the Douhua, setting it apart from other Douhua shops that usually serve it with syrup over shaved ice. The rich Douhua paired with shaved ice offers a refreshing and thirst-quenching experience. The owner noted that since students love ice, it's difficult to adjust the ratio if just syrup is used, so they decided to make ice cubes with syrup first and then blend them into a slush. Additionally, the syrup at Li Jin is made by frying granulated sugar before adding water and cooking it, giving it a particularly fragrant flavor.
