Kangnan Canal Park Introduction
To re-attract citizens to the quality waterfront space, the city government launched the "Gangnan Canal Waterfront Revitalization Plan" in 2018, focusing on three main goals: prioritizing ecology, landscape recreation, and creating a water-friendly environment. The northern landscape area of the park has been designed as a paradise for children, incorporating unique inclusive playground equipment such as climbing nets and balance beams. The southern area features a leisure walking path by the water and a water-friendly wooden platform, complemented by an infinity sunset viewing platform for visitors to enjoy the beautiful sunset and sea views. The area also includes a bike station and a children's balance bike zone. To maintain the overall environment, barbecuing is strictly prohibited throughout the Gangnan Canal Scenic Area.
