Xishi Shantou Restaurant Introduction

Located next to the Hsinchu City God Temple, the Ximen Market Shantou Restaurant was established in 1949. In the simple and unpretentious shop, you can often see the second-generation owner busy in the semi-open kitchen and the dining area. The restaurant is currently operated by four brothers from the second generation, and in recent years, they have opened branches in Beida Road and Zhubei, with the family working together to carry on their father's delicious legacy, allowing the aromatic flavors, which have lasted for nearly 70 years, to continue. The beef dishes in the restaurant are a favorite among gourmets, especially those made from carefully selected fresh chilled beef, specifically the hind leg. Throughout the cooking process, only simple seasonings are used to preserve the unique flavor of the beef. Additionally, using the golden ratio of meat and tendons from the hind leg creates a chewy and delicious beef meatball, ensuring that no preservatives are added in the process, allowing customers to enjoy them safely and deliciously, making it hard to stop at just one.
