Xishi Shantou Restaurant Introduction

Located next to the Cheng Huang Temple in Hsinchu, the Ximen Market Shantou Pavilion was established in 1949. In the simple and unpretentious storefront, you can often see the second-generation owner busying away in the semi-open kitchen and inside the restaurant. The Ximen Market Shantou Pavilion is currently operated by four brothers from the second generation, who have recently opened branches in Beida Road and Zhubei. The family works together to pass on their father’s wonderful flavors, ensuring that the delicious taste, which has been cherished for nearly 70 years, continues to be enjoyed. The beef dishes in the restaurant are a favorite among food enthusiasts, especially those made from carefully selected fresh chilled beef from the hind leg. The cooking process uses only simple seasonings to preserve the unique aroma of the beef, and the golden ratio of meat to tendon in the hind leg creates chewy and delicious beef meatballs. No preservatives are added during the preparation, allowing the beef meatballs to be both safe for the public to enjoy and delicious, making them irresistible.
