Located next to the Hsinchu City God Temple, the Ximen Market Shantou Restaurant was established in 1949. In the simple and unpretentious store, you can often see the second-generation owner busy in the semi-open kitchen and the dining area. Currently, the restaurant is operated by the four brothers of the second generation, who have opened branches in Beida Road and Zhubei in recent years, continuing their father's legacy of delicious flavors that have been cherished for almost 70 years. The beef dishes in the restaurant are a favorite among gourmet diners, especially the beef balls made from carefully selected fresh, chilled beef from the hind leg. The seasoning is kept simple to preserve the unique aroma of the beef itself. Using the golden ratio of meat and sinew from the hind leg, they create flavorful and chewy beef meatballs. No preservatives are added during the production process, allowing customers to enjoy them with peace of mind and great taste, making them irresistible.
