Located next to Hsinchu City God Temple, Ximen Market's Shantou Restaurant was established in 1949. In the simple and unpretentious storefront, you can often see the second-generation owner busy in the semi-open kitchen and inside the restaurant. Currently managed by the second generation of four brothers, the restaurant has opened branches in Beida Road and Zhubei in recent years. The family is united in passing down their father's delicious flavors, ensuring that the cherished tastes that have been highly regarded for nearly 70 years continue to be preserved. The restaurant's beef dishes are a favorite among connoisseurs, especially the beef balls made from carefully selected fresh chilled beef from the hind leg. During the preparation, only simple seasonings are used to preserve the unique beef aroma, and the golden ratio of meat and tendon from the hind leg creates chewy and flavorful beef balls. No preservatives are added during the production process, allowing people to enjoy delicious beef balls with peace of mind, making them irresistible.
