Xishi Shantou Restaurant Introduction
Located next to the Hsinchu City God Temple, the Ximen Market Shantou Restaurant was established in 1949. In the simple and unassuming shop, one can often see the second-generation owner busy in the semi-open kitchen and inside the restaurant. Currently managed by the second-generation brothers, the restaurant has recently opened branches on North University Road and Zhubei, with the family united in carrying on the delicious flavors inherited from their father, ensuring that the beloved taste that has been around for nearly 70 years continues to thrive. The beef dishes in the restaurant are favorites among food enthusiasts, especially the carefully selected fresh warm-blooded beef from the hind leg. The preparation process involves just a few simple seasonings to preserve the unique aroma of the beef itself. By using the golden ratio of meat to sinew from the hind leg, they create chewy and delicious beef meatballs. Throughout the production process, no preservatives are added, allowing customers to enjoy the beef meatballs with peace of mind and savor each bite.
