Jiufen Old Noodle Shop Introduction
Jiufen Old Noodle Shop has been in operation since 1958 and is currently managed by the second generation owner, Mr. Shi, who also cooks the noodles at the stall. Although Jiufen Old Noodle Shop is not the first noodle shop established in the Jiufen area, it is the first to offer beef noodles, which have remained a signature dish since its inception. The initial customers of Jiufen Beef Noodles were local residents and miners from Jinguashi and Jiufen, as the physically demanding nature of mining made the noodle shop particularly popular among them.
