Jioufen Zhang Ji Traditional Fish Balls Introduction
Located in Jiufen's Jishan Old Street, Zhang Ji Traditional Fish Ball has been in operation for nearly 12 years. The traditional fish ball is the signature dish, featuring small, Q-like (springy) balls that have a chewy texture, resembling pork balls but with their own unique twist! The traditional fish balls are made from fish paste and pork, mixed with crispy fried shallots, carrots, celery, and other ingredients. Some children who usually dislike vegetables like carrots love the traditional fish balls here, which are packed with rich nutrition. Additionally, the Fuzhou fish balls served in the shop are also quite popular; when you take a bite, the delicious broth bursts out, enhanced by the addition of fried shallots, adding plenty of flavor.
