Taiwan, Tai Chi, Ruyi Cup Snow Porcelain Series (2010 Souvenirs)

Taipei Foods

Product Story: 1. Taiwan Cup: When an appropriate amount of tea leaves is placed inside the Taiwan totem, as the tea leaves expand, one will gradually see the Jades Mountain of the Central Mountain Range rise and the tea liquid flow out; it serves as a blend of creativity and the pleasure of brewing tea. 2. Ruyi Cup: The cup mat represents Taiwan, and the interior of the cup is shaped like a ruyi. When the right amount of tea leaves is placed in the ruyi totem, as the tea leaves expand, one will slowly see the ruyi rise and the tea liquid flow out, representing the fusion of Taiwan's indigenous culture into the design. ‘Ruyi’ means “satisfactory” and “according to one’s wishes,” allowing auspicious energy to overflow into the tea liquid. 3. Tai Chi Cup: When an appropriate amount of tea leaves is placed in the Tai Chi totem, one will slowly see the golden-yellow tea emerge, awakening like a welcomed rain after a long drought. The process of the tea leaves stretching up and down resembles the mystical movements of Tai Chi, with water flowing naturally from the "yin" to the "yang." This cup design presents one side in dark color and the other in light color, naturally conveying the Tai Chi yin-yang totem, allowing the enjoyment of tea without encountering tea leaves at the bottom while embodying the essence of Eastern aesthetic imagery.
