Erbazi Botanical Garden Introduction
Erba Tree Garden boasts a natural forest belt and a secondary forest belt coexisting, primarily featuring trees, shrubs, and flowering plants. The park not only offers expansive views and lush greenery but also includes several hiking trails, a central plaza, a management center, and sports areas, showcasing the rich environment of the park. Unique plants such as "Jiangmou" and "Mountain Boar Meat" await your discovery, making it a perfect getaway in the suburbs of the Taipei metropolitan area, ideal for a trip with family and friends on weekends to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and experience the beauty of the mountains and forests. Located in the Ankang area of the Xindian Ankeng Mountain region, Erba is situated atop Tutan Mountain, and the name is related to the valley terrain of the Ankang region. According to legend, the ancestors, looking down from a high place, saw that the gentle hills in the valley resembled a "8" and an inverted "8", when combined, they represented "Erba" (two eights). The park is close to several large mountainous communities such as Daguan Town, Rose China Town, and Taipei Little Town. Covering an area of 150 hectares, walking in the forests of Erba in the morning refreshes the spirit with the scent of phytoncides. The hiking trails along the Erba Creek are gently graded and easy to navigate, with planned paths for families, cherry blossom trails, miscanthus paths, Lycopodium paths, bamboo paths, tung tree paths, and butterfly trails, with multiple plant explanation boards along the way to learn more about the plant world. The Ankeng light rail shuttle bus is now operational, making public transportation more convenient. Since the Ankeng light rail began operating, visiting Erba Tree Garden has become even easier. You can take the Ankeng light rail to "Gengxin Ankang Hospital Station" and transfer to bus route 839 or transfer to the Ankeng Line 1 shuttle bus at "Taipei Little Town Station" to reach Erba Tree Garden in just about 10-15 minutes, embarking on a leisurely ecological journey!
