The restaurant was established in the 45th year of the Republic of China. In its early years, it gained fame when Mr. Chiang Ching-kuo visited Shenkeng and had to try Wang Shuicheng's tofu, which received extensive media coverage. Later, due to renovations in the old street, it moved from its original location. It is now run by the second generation, who have refined Wang Shuicheng's catering skills into exquisite snacks, further evolving them into a new way to enjoy hot pot soup bases. The new location is bright and clean, infused with culture and innovation. Many foreign tourists visit based on online recommendations.
